This module focuses on analysis of transport and logistics operations effectiveness and efficiency. It also emphasise on the application of integration between these important functions from various perspectives of economic, social and environment. The program will also highlights ways of running a cost effective transport and logistics operations and business.

The BVDP Programmes primarily aimed at capacity building and human capital development of the Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs), namely, vendors to anchor companies. Hence, the selection of target participants to attend and participate actively in these training programmes are extremely important in order to ensure the effectiveness of programmes. The target audience for the BVDP Logistics and Transport Management training programme are as follows:- i. Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) ; ii. Working partners to SMEs; iii. Vendors; iv. Suppliers to vendors; v. Middle level staff; vi. Operational staff.

Programme Objective
i. To provide participants with professional training and knowledge in logistics and transport management;
ii. To equip participants with basic skills in managing cost effective logistics and transport operations;
iii. To enable participants to develop ability to plan, analyse and implement best practices in logistics and transport.
